Performance Data Collection

The UDT Platform not only supports basic performance data collection but also enables the collection of more comprehensive performance data from PerfDog through integration with PerfDog Service, effectively helping customers analyze the performance bottlenecks of the tested application.

Notes
1.Currently, a personal token for PerfDog Service only supports collecting performance data from one device at the same time as default.
2.After a user binds a personal token at the project level, they must note that the number of devices with the PerfDog performance data collection switch enabled for automated testing within the project must be ≤ 1.
3.When the number of concurrent devices exceeds 1, only the performance data of the last device to enter automated testing will be retained.

Upload Performance Data to PerfDog

After submitting the PerfDog Token and PerfDog Archive ID on the Settings > Project page, complete performance data can be collected during automated testing.
Go to Automation > Tasks > Create New Task and enable the “Upload performance data to PerfDog” option. Once enabled, the PerfDog Service will be used to collect complete performance data during the task, which will then be uploaded to the PerfDog platform. After the automated test task is completed, users can view the PerfDog report link on the test case report page.
Note: Currently, this feature is only available for mobile phones accessed locally via UDT-Desktop and Android cloud real devices; iOS cloud real devices are not supported temporarily. Additionally, ensure that valid PerfDog Token and PerfDog Archive ID have been entered in the project settings as instructed in the previous section.

Upload PerfDog Screenshots

After enabling the “Upload performance data to PerfDog” option, you can freely choose whether to upload the screenshot data collected by PerfDog during the test to the PerfDog platform. Once this option is enabled, it is recommended to disable [Screenshots Configuration] and [Video Recording Configuration]; otherwise, additional performance overhead may occur.
